Avid Volunteer and Boise Native Jane Gordon Launches Very Own Law Firm, Jane Gordon Law
Gordon’s Years of Achievements and Community Involvement Culminates in New Idaho Law Firm
Meridian, Idaho, August 1, 2023 — This month marks the grand opening of Jane Gordon Law, the new law firm in Boise owned and led by long-time, award-winning personal law attorney Jane Gordon. Outside her years as a personal injury attorney, Gordon is also an active member of the community and has dedicated her time as a board member, committee chair, community leader, and volunteer in the Treasure Valley.
Much of her free time is spent volunteering her legal services in the community. Gordon is a founding member of the Street Law Clinic through the Idaho Trial Lawyers, and she was recently elected to be on the executive committee for the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA). The Street Law Clinic provides free legal advice on the spot to disadvantaged or low income members of the Boise community on topics ranging from landlord-tenant issues, family law issues, employment law, and so on.
Gordon says, “I’m a sixth generation Boise resident. For me, community has always been a main priority. As a founding member and volunteer of the Street Law Clinic, I am able to help bridge the gap of the accessibility of legal services. Doing my part, even just a little bit, as an attorney by helping those struggling is one of my absolute favorite things. And now, the support of the community has been a driver in the operation to launch my very own law firm.”
Over the years, Gordon has actively served her community and been recognized for her commitment. She currently serves on the executive committee of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, and is a former board member of the Rotary Club of Boise Centennial and Idaho Women Lawyers (IWL). In 2016, Gordon was awarded the Rotary Ethics in Business Award, and then in 2022, she was selected to receive the IWL Innovator Award for promoting creative change in the legal community.
